Michael and Joanna Montgomery have always shared a love for fitness and education. After spending some time in the Army, Michael decided to start a career sharing the passion he has health and wellness and became a Certified Personal Trainer. For over 20 years Michael has been educating his clients how to become a healthier, happier version of themselves. His wife Joanna has always had the gift of teaching which paved the road to her almost decade long career in middle school education. In 2014 the Montgomery’s decided to relocate from California to Florida and shortly thereafter stumbled upon a once in a lifetime opportunity. Peak Fitness was looking for new owners and in 2015 Michael and Joanna announced they had acquired the Trinity location. Fast forward a couple years and the vision the Montgomery’s have for the ideal fitness facility is in full effect and according to the Trinity community they couldn’t be happier.

Claudia McCoy is Peak Fitness’s resident Athletic Performance Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Certified Master Personal Trainer. Nationally Ranked Triathlete, and the list goes on and on! Claudia is available for one-on-one training as well as her group training classes.
Mike Russell is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer. Mike achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and has 10 years of experience training clients from various backgrounds. Mike specializes in working through limitations to achieve individual fitness goals. Mike is available for one-on-one, two-on-one, and small group personal training. Mike also teaches Peak Fitness Club’s Motion Cage classes.
The Hoist MotionCage is the centerpiece of our training. Around it we design total body workouts that develop strength and cardiovascular endurance. Build muscle and burn fat simultaneously through interval training in a group tailored to you! Total body training using all pieces of equipment: TRX/BOSU/Ropes/Some Plyo's
Mike Gilmore is an SSA CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER as well as certified with the International Sports Sciences Association. He has completed his certification with SSA’s Strength and Conditioning and is a competitive endurance athlete primarily in the half marathon and marathon distances. Mike is available for one-on-one, 2-on-1, and small group training.
Chris Avila is a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist. Growing up with a love for sports and fitness helped his excel in high school athletics specifically Football and Basketball. Currently in college for a degree in Health Science and 5 years of personal training experience, Chris is available for one on one training, group training and fitness as well as nutrition and improving athletic performance.
