Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group has been proudly serving the Tampa Bay area for more than 50 years. Locally owned by long-time residents and civic leaders, Dewey Mitchell and Allan Crumbley, Berkshire Hathaway started with one office in the Tampa Bay area and has since grown into a full service organization with 21 offices serving a 6-county area. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group is consistently ranked among the leading real estate companies in the Tampa Bay region. Mitchell and Crumbley have focused on inspiring their agents and employees to have the highest level of ethics, professionalism, honesty, integrity and respect when serving clients and the community.

The world-class team of real estate and financial professionals at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Properties Group provide a wide array of real estate and financial services to help you, including; residential and commercial real estate services, residential and commercial property management, title and closing services, mortgage service, relocation, auction, REO, property and casualty insurance, and home warranty.

Commitment to the Community: In addition to providing clients with the best real estate and financial advice and service, Berkshire Hathaway is committed to helping the community. Two of the local organizations they support throughout the year include; the Sunshine Kids Foundation and Metropolitan Ministries. The Sunshine Kids Foundation provides a safe place for children with cancer to relax, have fun and focus on being a “regular” kid. Berkshire Hathaway sponsors a “Fun in the Sun” event for the organization, which gives children with cancer a free week at a Disney resort in Orlando with tickets to all the theme parks and other exciting activities. They also give each child a goodie bag with spending money, gift cards, water bottles, t-shirts, hats and other fun items. “Many of our employees take portions of their paycheck and automatically donate it to Sunshine Kids,” said Olivia Crumbley, Berkshire Hathaway Public Relations Specialist.

Metropolitan Ministries cares for the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in the community. Employees of Berkshire Hathaway decorated housing for 2 families at Metropolitan Ministries’ campus in Holiday. Additionally, Berkshire Hathaway collects food, money and toys for homeless families all over the Tampa Bay area. Last year they fed 1,000 families during the holidays and this year they hope to surpass that goal. “Many offices raise money and collect goods for Metropolitan Ministries year-round and do drives within their offices,” said Crumbley.

Commitment to Clients: The Trinity Office, conveniently located in the Mitchell Ranch Plaza at the corner of State Road 54 and Little Rd., has helped thousands of residents buy and sell homes. “Our agents have extensive knowledge of the local market and are very well versed in the new home communities,” said Berkshire Hathaway Market President Michael Plum. “They can help buyers make smart decisions when they are choosing their next home.” Plum says that because Berkshire Hathaway is able to offer buyers and sellers listing and closing services, they can provide all the support needed when buying or selling a home.

It seems like every time you turn around, there is a new community being built in the area, but Berkshire Hathaway has a preferred homebuilder program that can help you if you’re in the market for a new home in a new community. The agents at Berkshire Hathaway can help you choose the community that will work best for you, your family and your budget, while giving you the amenities you desire and a home you’ll love. “Our agents are experienced sales professionals with the utmost integrity and willingness to get the job done,” said Plum. “Our Trinity office has 41 agents ready to help our clients. We service 6 counties in the area – Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Hernando, Polk and Highlands.”
